for Site Reviews
Our aim is to bring our visitors' attention to sites
which are original in some way, offer good value in
terms of the quality of content, are easy to navigate
and which have clear information for member support.
We only publish reviews of sites we like.
There are loads of second rate, poor quality pay sites
out there and it seems to us entirely pointless to spend
time and effort reviewing them. So if we don't like
it, we don't review it! But that doesn't mean we only
say nice things about all the sites we review. On the
contrary - if there's something we think could be improved,
we'll say so.
So how do we go about reviewing sites?
Some we have searched for on the web, particularly where
we are developing reviews in a new category. Very often
webmasters ask us to review their sites but for every
one we accept there are many we reject as being unsuitable
for review. However good a site might appear on the
outside, what our visitors really want to know is what's
going on in the members' area. This is the fun bit of
this job - but the most distracting!! It's amazing we
get any work done at all really :-)
You should be aware that many of the
sites pay us a percentage when people join them. However,
your join fee is exactly the same whether you join via
a link from Guide2Porn.info or whether you came across
the paysite directly via a search engine. Our commission
is how we stay in business, of course, but our strict
review criteria are exactly the same whether or not
we receive a pay back. In fact, many of the best sites
we review here, especially the non-corporate ones, do
not pay commission - but that's fine, we want our visitors
to find good sites and then come back to Guide2Porn.info
looking for more.

- Send
us the URL and as
much background info as you can on your
site
- Send us a temporary pass
so we can look inside your members' area
- You
must be prepared to place a text* or
banner* (see below) link to Guide2Porn
in return for a published review
- Please read the stuff
on this page
- Only legal sites to submit. PERIOD.
We normally respond quite
quickly (sometimes within hours) but sometimes
it can take a little longer. |

If
you have an adult website you would like us
to review please send
us full details and the URL. See our comment
below about pass word access to your site.
We review all types of adult site
- paysite, AVS and free to access. Free sites
and AVS must offer more than the typical TGP
for us to publish a review. We would also publish
reviews of sites which are of adult interest
- story sites, sex articles, etc.
* In return for our publishing
a review we usually require that you link
to us from a non-membership area of your
site, or from somewhere else if you prefer. This
requirement may be waived at our discretion.

Reviews are of three basic types. As
of now (April 2005) all reviews will be published
on our recently created New
Reviews page. This will contain a brief summary
of your website and links to it. This will significantly
speed up the rate at which reviews are published so
keep sending them in!!! Some sites will qualify for
longer reviews to be published on the various category
pages and contain links, sample images and possibly
screen shots. Finally, reviews of sites which in our
view offer the most value to surfers are published
on their own page in an in-depth extended review format.

Eventually all sites will be indexed in an index page.
So that we can write a more interesting
review please send us as much background information
as you can. For example do you produce your own content,
how long has your site been running, is this just you
and the dog who run your site or is there a whole team
of gas mask fetishists (or whatever) involved?
You should be aware that we only
present websites that offer good value and with something
special to the surfer (see above). We will not present
reviews of sites we do not like or which appear to offer
little of value or new to the surfer. If you wish to
read a review before it is published let us know when
you submit your URL. Needless to say all sites reviewed
on Guide2Porn must comply with all standard legal requirements.
Although we are interested in sites
which offer an affiliate program this is not an essential
requirement.
It is very important for us to have
a temporary pass when reviewing membership sites so
that we can get a better impression of what is available
inside the protected area. Passwords will not be given
or sold to third parties under any circumstances.
We would also like permission to use samples to illustrate
reviews but we understand that copyright restrictions
may prevent this. Sample content is only displayed
on Guide2Porn where permission has been granted
and will only be used in conjunction with a review
about the originating site.
If you operate a link or adult review
site we would be glad to discuss a reciprocal link.
Do you have specialist knowledge of some
aspect of the adult industry? If so you might like to
write an article for us - we might even pay you for
something substantial - or feature a link to your site
if this is more appropriate. Please don't just send
us something. Let us have your ideas first.
