Where are you going to save your porn?
This is an important consideration.
Who else uses your computer? Do you want them finding your collection
of favorite porn?
| Options include: |
- installing an external hard drive. These work through one of your computer's
USB connections and can be disconnected at any time when not in use.
Then no one can stumble across your private stuff while you're away
from your computer.
- There are various applications which can be used to password protect
a folder though this can never be as good as physically disconnecting
an external drive.

Viewing the images:
You'll want
to view the images and movies you've downloaded.
The
simplest way is to use the basic image viewer and
movie players that almost certainly came with your PC.
All you have to do is browse through your porn folders, click
on a movie or picture you want to view and the picture or video will open in
the appropriate application.
Frankly this is not the most convenient way to view your iamges
and movies.
Fortunately there is a very much better
image browser and movie player available - and it's
free!
We use IrfanView
and it allows you to easily browse your collection
of downloaded images and movies, set up random access
and sequential slide-shows, and view and sort your
images.
This is a really
useful piece of freeware (for non-commercial use)
and is easily downloaded from the author's site (Irfan
Skiljan). If you like the software, or you are a
commercial user, send $10 or €10 (per
license) and you'll get regular updates.
In our experience IrfanView
is really fast and handles most different types
of image, video and audio files.
